Ilias Papageorgiou is a Greek architect and partner at New York based design firm SO–IL. His work includes numerous projects for cultural clients such as the Shrem Museum of Art in California, the University of Arts in London, Site Verrier in France, MoMA PS1, Frieze Art Fair and Versace in New York City. The work has been widely published and exhibited at preeminent venues such as the Venice Biennale, Whitney Museum and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
Besides practicing, Ilias is a frequent lecturer and visiting critic at various universities and has taught design studios at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. He holds a Diploma of Architecture from Aristotle University in Greece, and a Masters in Architecture from Harvard University.
