Kristin Lueke

Strategist and Writer - Firebelly

Kristin is a Virgo, but that’s not all. She’s also a strategist and writer at Firebelly, a Chicago-based, full-service design studio focused on social impact and community building. As one part of an uber-collaborative, 13-person team, she spends most days in conversation, from co-creating sustainable brand strategies and honest, thoughtful content to developing a shared design language with clients, collaborators and curious callers. She has over 13 years of experience working for and with good human beings in all kinds of spaces and sectors, from nonprofit arts and higher education to youth outreach, social justice and public health. Kristin serves on the board of Reason to Give, Firebelly’s very own homegrown nonprofit, where she also facilitates workshops on communication skills and social networking for adult learners. She gives whatever she can—time, money, piping hot copy—to myriad individuals and organizations around Chicago, so long as their hearts are pure and cause is righteous. She’s published a chapbook of poetry, been nominated  for a Pushcart Prize precisely once, and holds a couple of degrees in her own language from Princeton University and the University of Chicago.
