Sharna is a movement educator, artist, and empowerment coach. Her intentional facilitation style is influenced by her many years of work in dance and theater improvisation. A specialist in partnering and social dance, she explores the concepts of leadership and followership in performative, personal, and professional realms, and is ever-curious about how people come together, interact, and co-create. Sharna has choreographed work for Spitfire Physical Theater (Prague, Czech Republic 2014), Amrita Performing Arts (Phnom Penh, Cambodia 2016), and Human Nature Dance (Flagstaff, Arizona 2016), as well as for her own company, Sharna Fabiano Performance. She has also collaborated with author Ira Chaleff, using tango dance to demonstrate effective "followership" in businesses and organizations. Based in southern California, Sharna teaches in the Theater department at UCLA and travels frequently as a guest artist and teacher. She also hosts retreats for women that integrate movement and mindfulness practices.Website
